10 Helpful Tips for Travel

How many times have you felt inspired by a scene or by a person when your travelling or on holiday somewhere? These moments of visionary bliss are the cue to get your camera out and begin filming at that very moment. Sketch a quick story board and return to the wondrous scene again but this time ready to document the moment. Most of my filming has been inspired by moments I spent in certain places and from travel photography. The trick is to document something that is visually stunning, or commonly unseen and you know it's not easily accessible either on the internet or by actually travelling to the very same spot or area, Moments such as motor bike tracking in the Cardaman Mountains in Cambodia, (in post production) or some extreme sport you might have tried. Internet Archives The internet has some great places to find content for your film and video work. Did you know that the Internet Archive has over 427 Billion Web Pages saved and available to browse? That's full time browsing on steroids. Not only do they have web pages but an incredible moving image archive of over 2,027,394 videos most of which is public domain now, which means it's available for you to download, copy, cut and use in your own work. The Software archive stands at 109,364 and contains audio files, video, games and a whole treasure chest of other apps. The Audio Archive stands at 2,527,149 and is also a great place to look for public domain sounds and samples for your latest creation.
