Time to go Viral

So, how do you catch viral videos before they happen or as they are happening? The best practice is to keep tabs on these viral video sites to watch what’s trending right now. Plus you can also set up Google alerts so every time there's a new video that's receiving a lot of attention you get to know about it.

  1. Popscreen  - have videos that are trending now. You can get an rss feed from the site and keep up to date with different channels on Popscreen charts covering 7 days to a month.
  2. BuzzFeed - also have trending videos you can keep up to date with. Most of the video are from YouTube unlike Popscreen who have videos from Vimeo and other sites.
  3. YouTube Charts - with the amount of hits popular video receives YouTube is still the best place to source video from.
  4. Video Library - Video Library has been around on FB for three years and has some great hand picked videos from all kinds of different sources.
  5. Break - Break has a large community of viewers and list all the top trending videos in categories and channels.
